Music for the Void
KFHO · For Headphones Only · the structure answers in sound
One seed, one tonal center, four quiet voices. It drifts, thins to almost nothing, and returns. Set it going and let it be.
- signal
- The code at the end of the readout. It is what arrives, and it carries the seed. Everything you hear is what the structure makes of it.
- answer
- The rest of the readout: tonal center, mode, pace. Add the bell, the voices, the passages, and the sky, and that is the structure's answer to this signal.
- new signal
- A new seed, so a new answer: a different root, mode, pace, bell, and sky. The old one is gone unless you kept its link.
- share
- Copies a link that holds this signal. Open it anywhere and the same structure gives the same answer, from the first bar. Nothing leaves your browser.
- passages
- Thin, drift, bloom, silence. The word on the right of the readout is the one you're in. Silence is on purpose: the sky thins with it and fills again as the sound returns.
- leave it on
- Built for hours. Nothing repeats and nothing asks for attention. It plays with the screen locked. Tap the signal & void mark at the top to open the rest of the site in a new tab while the sound keeps going here; every other page then shows an on air pill that brings you back or pauses it.
- keys
- Space plays and pauses, R sends a new signal, S shares.
The long version, with where it came from: Thin, Drift, Bloom, Silence.
